Kim Bo-Kyung notched his 2nd goal for Wigan after joining the Latics at the end of January; now he’s scored in back to back games for them. With 2 wins in a row, Wigan move up in the English Championship table, climbing to 22nd by leapfrogging Millwall (on goal difference), and are now only 6 points from safety.
Ki Sung-Yeung was Swansea’s Man of the Match vs Tottenham. His equalizer was from an impossibly tight angle. It was noted earlier that Ki surpassed Park Ji-Sung’s record. Park managed 5 goals for Manchester United during the 2010-2011 EPL season – including game winners against Wolves, Blackburn and Arsenal. That 5 goal tally doesn’t include a game winner in the Champions League quarterfinals against Chelsea. Park and Man U wound up in the finals that May, only to lose to Barcelona 3-1. With 10 games left, will Ki get to double digits? BTW, he pulled a ‘Park Chu-Young’ goal celebration (watch the knees dammit and don’t get hurt!! -says the Tavern 엄마 )

Suwon loses to Beijing Guoan 1-0 after being reduced to 10 men. Yang Sang-Min was sent off just after the hour-mark. (Edit by Tim: The ref was absolutely awful. A disgrace.)

- K-League squads do better for the ACL’s 2nd Matchday, with 3 out of 4 teams winning in their respective groups.
- Jeonbuk undefeated with 1 draw and 1 win, 2nd in group behind Kashiwa on goal difference. Seongnam and Suwon both are in 2nd in their respective groups.
- FC Seoul, with 1 win 1 loss, are even on points with Western Sydney but 3rd behind them in Group H on goal difference.
- J League clubs have struggled overall in ACL group stage; (except for Kashiwa Reysol) Gamba Osaka, Urawa Reds and Kashima Antlers are last in their groups.

Good experience for the young center forward; it has to be noted his visiting squad played against what looked like Bayern’s A squad. Why was SHM suspended for the cup match?
3 game red card suspension from a previous dfB match. It looked like he was trying to kick the ball loose from a player on the ground who was holding on to the ball – Son was trying to get a quick free kick out. Ref saw him kicking a player on the ground and gave him straight red.
