Short Midweek Roundup

Just a few results to share, so here’s a short roundup.

Korea FA Cup semifinals on Wednesday

Sangju Sangmu vs FC Seoul: 0-1, Goal from Kim-Joo Young at the 9′

Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors vs Seongnam FC: 0-0, Seongnam go through on penalties (sorry CKH).

See Jae’s post for more detail on how the Korea FA Cup semi results shake out for the K-League fixtures this weekend. It’s gonna be a BIG weekend in Korea, some of these games are not to be missed.

First Yun Suk-Young emerges alive (and not eaten by zombies) in QPR apparently. Now Kim Bo-Kyung returns to Cardiff’s 18 man squad. Translation: he makes the bench -as an unused sub. Still, one might view that as progress…emphasis on might

In other news, Guus Hiddink will meet with the KNVB to discuss the team’s poor performance in qualifying for the Euros (like their 0-2 loss to Iceland last week) and where to go from there. KNVB director Bert Van Oostveen was quoted as saying, “The problems appeared to be incidental but would now appear to be structural”.

Hmmm…now where have I heard that before?

Stay tuned…
