Week listings and previews for our Korean Players Abroad. Unfortunately our U17 Taeguk Warriors were knocked out of the 2015 Chile World Cup. Sadly, we lost 2-0 to Belgium. Both Jinseok and Roy wrote a great analysis on the match, if you haven’t read it please go and check it out. Our Korean Players Abroad had a good mid-week, with Ji Dong-Won finally scoring for Augsburg and Hong Jeong-Ho providing an assist in the 3-0 win against Freiburg. First goal of the season to Ji, it will definitely be a great confidence booster for him.

Yun Suk Young is back from his injury but hasn’t been able to make the full squad list yet.

Hong Jeong-Ho is back from his injury, he was even fit enough to play in the DFB Cup against Freiburg mid-week.  He should start against Mainz. Augsburg has been struggling a lot these last couple of weeks. A win for them this week is vital as they are coming last in the Bundesliga right now.

Ji Dong-Won finally scores for Augsburg. He scored the first goal in the 3-0 win against Freiburg mid-week, Hurray, it was a great goal too. I really respect coach Markus Weinzierl in believing in Ji and being patient with him. I expect a bench appearance for Ji this week against Mainz.

Koo Ja-Cheol was rested mid-week. I expect Koo to start against his former club Mainz.

Hoffenheim manager Markus Gisdol was sacked this week due to Hoffenheim’s poor performances, Huub Stevens will take over for the remainder of the season. With a new coach, hopefully Kim Jin-Su can get starting football again.

Borussia Dortmund’s Marcel Schmelzer is back from his injury, I expect Park Joo-Ho to be benched this week against Werder Bremen.

Lee Chung-Yong is back from his injury, I expect a bench appearance for him this week against Manchester United.

Ki Sung-Yueng should start against Arsenal.

Ryu Seung-Woo sustained an injury during international break, I don’t expect he will make the squad list for Bayer Leverkusen.

Suk Hyun-Jun is in great form, he should start against Arouca.

Son Heung-Min is still injured, he won’t be making an appearance this week.

**On the side note, the final round of Kleague FACup is on this Saturday. Kick off 1:30PM Korean time, SBS will be broadcasting the game. The winner of the FACup will automatically qualify for the 2016 Asian Champions League. Good luck to both teams.
