CAPITAL ONE CUP
Swansea City earned a 3-0 win over York City and advance to the next round of the Capital One Cup. Ki played 80 minutes of the match and was reported to have performed brilliantly.
Crystal Palace earned a 4-1 victory of Shrewsbury in extra time and also advance to the next round of the Capital One Cup. Lee Chung-Yong (GOL 97′) played the full 120 minutes and reports of his performance are positive.
QPR lost 1-2 to Carlisle United and do not advance in the Capital One Cup. Yun Suk-Young did not even make the bench.
ASIAN CHAMPIONS LEAGUE
Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors was only able to earn a draw against Gamba Osaka in the 1st leg of the ACL quarter-finals. Lee Dong-Gook and Park Won-Jae had the best chances but were unable to finish.
UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE
Bayer Levekusen secured a 3-0 win over Lazio to advance to the Champions League Group Stage. More news on Son to follow.
