Korean national team manager Uli Stielike has gone with a relatively safe and pragmatic selection for his 2015 East Asian Football Federation (EAFF) Cup rosters. Only East Asia-based players were available for selection.
Notably, Seongnam striker Hwang Ui-jo and (the most in-form player in the country) Seoul E-Land striker Joo Min-kyu were both left off the squad. Consadole Sapporo goalkeeper Gu Sung-yun and Gwangju FC midfielder Lee Chan-dong are both earning their first ever call-ups.

Kim Seung-dae can play as a FW but he’s largely been shifted to AM. Lee Yong-jae can also play as a FW. Given the EAC is only 3 games long and Stielike will use the 4-2-3-1 he doesn’t need that many FWs.
Well at least we have our two strong goalkeepers.
I think while South Korea and Japan will be bringing weaker teams, China and North Korea will bring most of their best side.
That’s correct. China is bringing their best team, since their entire team is based in the CSL. North Korea might do without one or two of their foreign based players but otherwise will also be bringing their best team.
