  1. Hey jae,

(Man I like how “hey jae” sounds)
Anyways it seems like so many korean players (especially wingers) are converted to CAM, kbk, jdw, lcy, nth, just to name some. Even guys like son are playing a lot more centrally. Why do you think this happens? Are the skills that are emphasized in korea good for playmakers or something? Is it because the evolution of the game? I don’t know I was just curious and I would like to hear your thoughts.

    • Probably because it rhymes. Anyway, it’s certainly a possibility. Korea’s better players do tend to be stronger in the technical side of things (rather than physical or tactical). I suspect a lot of them are converted into central attackers because they have decent technical ability, but also because they lack the necessary abilities to play in other positions (winger, center forward, central midfield).
