A final update on the Ki Sung-Yueng situation. The KFA has announced that given Ki’s apology to former national team coach Choi Kang-Hee, Ki will only be given a serious warning about his conduct (the post on the KFA’s website has strangely disappeared though). The KFA had opened official disciplinary action against Ki for his Facebook post criticizing Choi. Ki could have been subjected to extremely harsh punishments such as a multi-year ban. Hopefully this will put an end to this issue.
