    • The KFA is banking on the fact that he was a part of the success in 2002 as he was the head of the technical committee then (that appointed Guus Hiddink). He’s someone who’s been around the KFA for awhile, so a bit mixed perhaps. On the one hand he seems to know what to do, but on the other he could be another “KFA old boy” unwilling to really shake things up there. Remember, even after the manager is appointed the technical committee is supposed to continue to assist the manager with opposition scouting reports and tactical recommendations. The current committee received a fair bit of criticism for their part of the team’s poor preparation for Brazil.
