Kimbo will likely start against Charlton after coming as a sub midweek.

A mini-Korean derby. Ji Dong-Won, who has done all but score for Augsburg, takes on red hot Son Heung-Min. The latter could be rested for Champions League midweek against Atletico de Madrid, however.

Kim Jin-Su has a decent shout at starting against Freiburg.

Koo Ja-Cheol and Park Joo-Ho are always in the mix for Mainz, but their manager has been fired this week so your guess is as good as mine.

Lee Chung-Yong still injured so his Premier League debut continues to be delayed, while Yun Suk-Young could start as well, depending on what now official boss Ramsey makes of him as he is tasked with getting the R’s to safety this season.

And Ki Sung-Yueng hosts Manchester United at the Liberty Stadium, can he score against Van Gaal’s side like he did to open the season? (Please don’t. United supporter here.)

MIDDLE EAST NEWS

Lee Myeong-Joo’s Al-Ain lost 1-0 – the South Korean midfielder played the full 90. A stark constrast to his club’s 7 goal performance last week…

Kwak Tae-Hwi’s Al-Hilal are in a bit of a rut as they have fired their manager, and the new boss left Kwak out of the squad on Tuesday… and they lost. Al-Hilal have a tough game against Al-Ahli Saturday at 12:40pm EST… 2:40am KST on Sunday morning.

Nam Tae-Hee’s Lekhwiya won 1-0 on Thursday… Nam came on as a late sub. Lekhwiya now first in the Qatari leagye,

Han Kook-Young and Cho Young-Cheol play Friday morning EST (8.45am), evening KST (10.45pm) against Al Khor. Qatar SC are 4th in the league.

No Asian Champions League for Lee Keun-Ho this year as his El Jaish side lost the playoff. He plays Saturday morning at 8.45am/10.45pm against the Qatari Al-Ahli.

There will be ACL for former KNT defender Lee Jung-Soo however – Al-Sadd won their playoff in penalties.

Whoa, it’s like 1am here. Jalgayo from the TSC – and happy (belated) Lunar New Year to all those back in Korea! Hangeul keyboard isn’t working so in romanization: Sae-hae bok ma-ni bat-eu-sae-yo!
