I’M BACK!!!!!!!!!!!! There was so much business to take care of over the past month, however, I remain committed to the progress of Korean football. Subbing for Jinseok today, but I will be taking care of the midweek listings from this point on. With that being said, here are the weekend results.

Old news, but Park Ji-Sung has been honored with the role as Man Utd’s club ambassador, along with legends Sir Bobby Charlton, Andrew Cole, Ferguson, Denis Law, and Bryan Robson! Sir Alex and Park reunited at Old Trafford on Sunday. Was beautiful to watch
*Ryu-Seung Woo’s future in Germany is in question as he struggles even to make the bench for Eintract Braunschweig. Receiving little to no playing time lately.

First friendly under Uli Steilike is coming up in a few days on Oct. 10th against Paraguay. Congratulations to S. Korea for earning the Gold and N. Korea for a great effort. Stay tuned…
Thanks Jeremy! Wondering if Sangju will drop back down again. Just lovely for our military conscripted footballers; congratulations, you get to leave your club and drop into 2nd tier in Korea. Hopefully Ji looked sharp for BVBII…
If Sangju drop down, maybe Ansan will come up. Then they can do their service with the police instead of the army.
Ah! That’s a better proposition. Glad to know they have that option too!
Well, it’s a big ‘if’. Ansan are currently 3rd and look good for the playoffs, but it’s no guarantee they’ll come up as they’d need to win three matches (3v4, 3v2, 3v11). Plus serving with the police is harder to get. I think the service time is longer plus they need to apply to get into police academy (or something like that).
On second thought, that doesn’t sound so good…
