Park Joo-Ho was on the bench while Koo Ja-Cheol was an early second half sub as Mainz lost 4-2 to Dortmund. Koo had a couple half-chances but couldn’t put them away.

Hong Jeong-Ho struggling to find fitness again, but Ji Dong-Won could start. He’s been okay the past couple games.

Bayer Leverkusen are being hit with injuries left and right so Son Heung-Min will inevitably get the nod against Wolfsburg. Kim Jin-Su put in a solid shift last time around and he should also start against Stuttgart.

Too early for Lee Chung-Yong and the other English League boys are out of the FA Cup and will not see game action this weekend.

Middle East News
Lee Myeong-Joo’s Al-Ain destroyed Ajman in the UAE Arabian Gulf League to go top of the league.

Kwak Tae-Hwi’s Al-Hilal lost the Saudi Crown Prince Cup to Al-Ahli 2-1. Kwak played the full 90.

Lee Keun-Ho’s El Jaish beat Nam Tae-Hee’s Lekhwiya 2-0. Lee Keun-Ho didn’t play, Nam Tae-Hee subbed off in late second half.

Other than that, it has been a slow news week for South Korean football… so I guess that’s it for this post then! Jalgayo from the TSC.
