So, I admit. I have a little problem with football boots. Is it the cool, bright colors? The fact that all the cool kids wear them? Who knows, but I’ve been closely following the all the new releases for the World Cup, and here, you can see what the Korean national team is wearing in Brazil.
The Starting XI
Jung Sung-Ryong is wearing the Adidas Predator Instinct Battle Pack edition.

Lee Yong is wearing the Mizuno Morelia Neo.

Hong Jeong-Ho is wearing the Adidas 11Pro Battle Pack edition.

Kim Young-Gwon is wearing the Mizuno Wave Ignitus 3.

Yoon Suk-Young is wearing the Adidas F50 Adizero Battle Pack edition.

Han Kook-Young is wearing the Nike Tiempo Legends V.

Ki Sung-Yueng is wearing the new Nike Magista Opus.
Lee Chung-Yong is wearing the Nike Mercurial Vapor X.

Captain Koo Ja-Cheol is wearing the Adidas Predator Instinct Battle Pack edition.

Son Heung-Min is wearing the Adidas F50 Adizero Battle Pack edition.

Park Chu-Young is wearing the Mizuno Morelia Neo.

The Whole Squad

Three players will be wearing the Predator Instinct. Captain Koo Ja-Cheol and goalkeepers Jung Sung-Ryong and Lee Bum-Young.

Adidas’ signature speed shoe will be worn by two players, “Sonsational” Son Heung-Min and left back Yoon Suk-Young.

Park Jong-Woo is the only player to wear Adidas ‘energy’ shoe.

Hong Jeong-Ho is the only player who will be wearing Adidas 11Pro boot.

Ki Sung-Yueng, Kim Chang-Soo, and Kwak Tae-Hwi have all opted to wear Nike’s Magista Opus. None though wanted to wear the Magista with the collar fit. The Opus, is supposedly the same as the now discontinued CTR360 series.

Ji Dong-Won is the only player who will wear Nike’s attacking Hypervenom boot.

Lee Chung-Yong and Park Joo-Ho will wear Nike’s iconic Mercurial boot. Although it looks like Park Joo-Ho will be wearing the Vapor IX model.

Han Kook-Young and Kim Seung-Gyu will be wearing Nike’s classic Tiempo line.

Somewhat surprisingly, Mizuno’s Morelia Neo is the most popular boot for Korean national team players. Park Chu-Young, Lee Yong, Lee Keun-Ho, Ha Dae-Sung, and Kim Shin-Wook will all don the Japanese-made boot.

Kim Young-Gwon also will wear Mizuno boots, but he will wear the company’s power boot, the Wave Ignitus 3.

Kim Bo-Kyung is the only player to wear Puma’s multicolored EVOpower Tricks boots.
*I’m not entirely sure what Hwang Seok-Ho is wearing since he hasn’t appeared in recent matches. Training photos show him in an older model Mizuno though.
