Week listings and previews for our Korean Players Abroad. Woohoo Sonaldo continues to impress, both Ji Dong-Won and Koo Ja-Cheol are starting for Augsburg.  Suk Hyun-Jun’s team Trabzonspor finally won and Lee Chung-Yong provided an assist last week. Last week was a pretty decent week hope this week will be better. Although there is still no sign of Park Joo-Ho and Kim Jin-Su in the Bundesliga 2016-17 season.

With Augsburg striker Caiuby out for the rest of 2016, this means Ji Dong-Won has to step out. Kind of good news as Ji will get more playing time. (Sorry Caiuby) Ji has been starting the last couple of games, Dirk Schuster has been praising Ji for his brilliant performances during training. He said he is in good condition. Hope we can see all this talk on the pitch.

As usual Koo Ja-Cheol should start for Augsburg. RB Leipzig will be a tough opponent for Augsburg as they haven’t lost a single game in the Bundesliga 2016-2017 season. Especially with Augsburg suffering injury woes.

Lee Chung-Yong should make another bench appearance this week against Everton, he provided a last minute assist last week which was exciting. Should get subbed in later in the game.

Ki Sung-Yueng was benched last week as expected, after last week’s drama unfolded. But it seems that his talks with Guidolin has gone fairly well considering that he got some playing time and made the bench. I expect him to make bench this week, too early for him to start as there’s a conflict of interest.

Trabzonspor finally won last week hurray. Suk Hyun-Jun should start this week against Karabukspor.

Kim Jin-Su hasn’t starting any league games and made no bench appearances this season. I expect it to be the same this week too.

Like Kim Jin-Su, still no start or bench appearances for Park Joo-Ho this season. I expect the same this week too.

Last weekend we saw Son Heung-Min’s ridiculously good form with a brace against Middlesborough. Named Man of the Match with over 90% of the votes, top-ranked European based player on WhoScored. He even scored a winning goal mid-week against CSKA Moscow.  He should start this week against Manchester City. Definitely the match to watch this week.
